Join the DBA as we honor the legacy of an extraordinary leader whose courageous work to end discrimination against the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community in the 1970s set the stage for many of the civil rights advances we see today that benefit all Californians. Funds raised support Coachella Valley LGBTQ youth programs.

This years Leadership Award Goes to Senate President pro Tempore Emeritus Toni Atkins. The first woman and the first LGBTQ+ person to lead both chambers of the state senate. 

This year's Lifetime Achievement Award goes to Holly Near, who for 50 years has celebrated the human spirit through music and activism.
